I came along to the club one Thursday on my own and was warmly welcomed into the club. The club is a great place to catch up with friends, enjoying a drink and play a game of snooker.
A small friendly club with enthusiastic members. The social tournaments are good fun and the choice and price of beer is second to none.
Wargrave Snooker Club Events
Every year we run our 3 main tournaments – Singles, Doubles and the Wellavize.
The snooker club also runs a snooker competition as part of the Wargrave Village Festival. This event is a single evening with the winners being presented with a cup at the clubs AGM meeting. We also shows the RBS Six Nations Rugby matches (subject to Bar volunteers). On these days the snooker club is open to those who want to watch the Rugby or just come down to play snooker.
As part of our community activities we give a night of Snooker as an Auction of Promises prize to the Piggott school.
